Questions

Common questions.

Is there an app to find musicians to play with?

Yes, JamFan. It is free on iOS and Android, with a web app that does the same.

What does the app do that a group does not?

It finds people for you, shows you why you would play well together, and lets you hear everyone first, so your post does not sink in an hour.

Do I need a phone?

No. The web app works on any computer, though recording a demo is easiest on your phone.
