Find bandmates
Find bandmates who fit the room.
Every band starts with two people in a room. JamFan finds you the other one, nearby, and lets you hear them play before you say hi.
Hear them first
Every card plays a video showcase or an audio demo, so you know the sound before the first message.
Picked, not posted
No wanted ads shouting into the void. Each evening JamFan picks six players near you, each with one honest reason.
From message to rehearsal
When a Jam is mutual the chat opens with three openers built from what you both play.
Join a band, or build one
Set your intent to casual, serious or professional, and JamFan looks for people after the same thing. A guitarist after an established band, a band missing its drummer, two friends who need a rhythm section: everyone says what they want up front, so nobody spends a month of messages finding out they differ.
Why classifieds come down to luck
A wanted post cannot filter by genre, cannot play you a demo, and sinks within hours. A JamFan profile shows what someone plays, how they sound and where they are, and keeps working long after a post would have disappeared.
The directory
Every city has a scene.
Musician directories across 70 cities, growing as the community does. You do not need an account to look around.
Questions
Common questions.
How do I find bandmates on JamFan?
Create a free profile with your instruments, genres, skill level and location. Each evening JamFan picks six musicians near you, each with one honest reason you would play well together. Jam the ones you want to play with, and chat when it is mutual.
Can I find an existing band to join?
Yes. Set your intent so people know you are looking to join a project, and say in your profile what you are after.
What if I only need one specific player?
Search by instrument, genre and distance, for example metal drummers within 15 km. You can pick up to 8 instruments and 8 genres at once.
